Job Description
- AM PM and NIGHT rosters available
- Be supported to complete a Cert III Cost covered by HammondCare

HammondCare Miranda is currently looking for PPT Carers to join our team.
Please note: Most rosters are above 48 hours per fortnight and student 500 VISA holders may not be suitable.
Our Cottage style homes provide low and high care for residents with Dementia. You will be running the cottage like a home which will include:
- Personal care showering grooming toileting dressing
- Domestic assistance cooking cleaning and laundry
- Engaging with the residents ensuring they are involved in the activities they WANT to do.
- Recognise report and respond appropriately to changes in the conditions of residents within your skills and competencies.
All new staff will complete an onsite orientation with a Workplace Trainer have buddy shifts and be supported by experienced Registered Nurses and Managers on site.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be willing to work a range of shifts including Morning Afternoons and/or nights and some weekends
- Have unlimited work rights
- Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people & want to make a difference in their lives
- Value teamwork but also be able to work independently and show initiative
- Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs
- Applicants with Cert lll or Cert lV in Aged Care would be viewed favourably
