TheChristianaCare OutpatientRadiologyDepartment is currently recruiting for a FullTime 80hrs) MRI Technologist to work day shift at Concord Health Center

Responsible for:

  • Performing MRI examinations.
  • Performing Xray examinations as necessary.
  • Performing clerical duties as necessary.
  • Superior performance in Customer Service Skills

Shift Hours:

  • Day shift

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completion of ARRT registry in radiologic technology required (twoyear accredited program).
  • Completion of ARRT registry in MRI required (achieved within two years of hire).
  • State Licensure on Radiation Protection is required.
  • Completion of formal and/or on the job training on cross sectional anatomy.
  • An Associates degree is required; candidates are required to obtain their Associates of Science degree (can be substituted within a related field) within three 3 years of their start date as outlined in the Education Agreement required to be signed as a condition of employment.
  • Certification in CPR.
  • Yearly PEEPS certification required for proper and safe positioning and transfer of patients.
