Job Description

Annual Wage: $64385 $89173

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and Supervise cycle counts Inventory Adjustments and S.
  • Strong quantitative skills comfortable with numbers and analytics.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical machine parts.
  • Supervise both the Inventory Control Specialist and the Inventory Clerks.
  • Understand and use barcode system to ID parts.
  • Ability to take weekly cycle counts with and/or without handheld scanners.
  • Ability to take full inventory with and/or without handheld scanners.
  • Ability to enter requisitions in MP2 and SAP and receive in MP2 and SAP.
  • Ability to pick parts by description or part number.
  • Ability to use MP2 to generate requisitions for parts automatically based on Min/Max points.
  • Ability to collaborate with vendors to assist in purchasing parts.

Professional Experience:

  • Previous exposure to heavy forklift handling (Larger than 5ton lift)
  • 1 Year experience operating fork trucks or equivalent skillset
  • Previous use of warehouse management systems or receiving / loading preferred
  • 23 years inventory control or general accounting experience
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles regulatory standards and compliance requirements

Education and specialized skills profile:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree or equivalent from a twoyear college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to calculate post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Practical experience and knowledge of SAP and MP2 software systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs.
  • High degree of accuracy diligence and confidentiality
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Excellent analytical problem solving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Effective verbal listening and written communication skills.
  • Effective organizational stress and time management skills
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
  • Experience in SAP and MP2 software systems preferred.
  • Experience in inventory control preferred.

  • Candidate must be able to complete task under little to no supervision should have the ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
  • A sense of urgency a capacity for accurate decisions and the ability to exercise sound judgement in a demanding work environment.
  • Regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers
  • Regularly move from sitting to standing positions effortlessly
  • Regularly spend long hours in intense concentration reviewing and entering financial information into a computer
  • Regularly walk long distances while recording inventory count information
  • Regularly speak clearly so listeners can understand.
  • Frequently work in on projects that require deadlines.
  • Frequently bend to file and maintain files

Linguistic Profile:

  • English language skills (oral and written) are necessary to successfully complete the appropriate scope of work.

Mobility and Physical Requirement profile:

  • Work location is Barnwell.
  • The Manufacturing environment is not air conditioned or climate controlled.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit and walk and talk or hear; and use hands to finger handle or operate objects tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee must occasionally climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts in high precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions ambient air temperature extremes combustible dust fumes or airborne particles traffic toxic or caustic chemicals risk of electrical shock and vibration.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but occasionally high in specific areas.
  • Possess a valid Drivers License
  • This is a fulltime position and general hours of work between 8:00 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. Working time may vary.This position may regularly require extended hours night shift and or weekend work as well
