Grad Coop Operations North Carolina

What You Will Do

Lets do this. Lets change the world. The Graduate Coop at Amgen offers students the opportunity to gain industry experience while completing their studies. They may assist in various departments including engineering manufacturing and supply chain depending on their course of study and the companys needs. Responsibilities may include:

• Support drafting of process validation protocols to support Process Performance Qualification (PPQ) activities and plant startup
• Support PD atscale and/or validation study activities such as modeling mixing times analyze data and assist in mixing study documentation.
• Develop business tools to support PD operational needs

Basic Qualifications:

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for a grad internship or a coop assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

• 18 years or older
• Graduated with a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
• Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Masters program for a Masters internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR Ph.D. for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR Masters OR Pharm D OR Ph.D. program before the internship starts
• Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship or coop assignment
• Must not be employed at the time the internship or coop starts
• Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the coop

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree concentration in Engineering Science Biotechnology Math Computer Science Technology Data Science Public Health or a related degree
• Previous Coop or internship experience
• Basic understanding upstream and/or downstream biopharmaceutical processes

The base pay range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $30 $40 per hour.
