Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and detaildriven Backend Operations Manager to manage and optimize backend operations for our growing Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) chain. This role is critical in driving efficiency across supply chain procurement inventory management vendor relations and logistics to ensure smooth daytoday operations of all outlets.
The ideal candidate will have experience in backend functions within a QSR or food retail environment with a strong focus on cost control systems and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain & Vendor Management
Manage the endtoend supply chain for multiple QSR outlets ensuring consistent and timely supply of ingredients packaging and other essentials.
Source onboard and negotiate with vendors suppliers and service providers.
Monitor vendor performance and compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Periodically review pricing and contracts to ensure competitiveness and value.
Inventory & Procurement Management
Oversee centralized and outletlevel inventory management systems to reduce wastage and pilferage.
Implement robust stock control measures optimize stock levels and ensure realtime tracking of inventory at all locations.
Manage procurement cycles plan reordering schedules and forecast demand based on sales trends and promotional plans.
Logistics & Distribution
Design and execute efficient logistics and distribution strategies to ensure timely replenishment of stock at each outlet.
Coordinate with logistics partners for deliveries route planning and scheduling.
Manage the movement of goods between warehouses central kitchens and outlets.
Cost Control & Process Improvement
Monitor backend operational costs and identify opportunities for costsaving and process improvements.
Standardize backend operational processes across all outlets to improve efficiency.
Work closely with finance and outlet teams to prepare operational budgets and control expenses.
Technology & Systems
Implement backend systems/software for procurement inventory and supply chain management.
Ensure systemdriven reporting inventory reconciliation and realtime data availability for decisionmaking.
Compliance & Quality Control
Ensure adherence to food safety standards regulatory requirements and internal SOPs.
Conduct periodic audits of warehouses central kitchens and vendor facilities.
Key Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Operations or related field. MBA is a plus.
1 years of experience in backend operations supply chain or procurement managementpreferably in the QSR or food retail sector.
Strong knowledge of inventory management vendor development and logistics in a highvolume environment.
Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.
Analytical mindset with experience in cost optimization and budgeting.
Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple outlets.
Understanding of food safety hygiene and compliance requirements for QSR operations.
