The Opportunity

Altus Group has an immediate opening for a Cost Analyst within our Development Advisory team in Vancouver. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and connections within the development industry and engage in endtoend cost consulting for highprofile construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor construction projects to ensure alignment with budgets and loan requirements.

• Tracking and reporting deviations from project budgets and schedules.

• Analyze data for loan monitoring reports for lenders and stakeholders.

• Produce estimates and measures for analysis of change orders and construction costs.

• Review and verify payment requests and cost documentation.

• Communicate effectively with project teams lenders and clients.

• Coordinating construction and development information between borrowers and lenders.

• Conduct field reviews and site inspections to evaluate the progress of work.

Key Requirements:

• A recent graduate (or 12 years of experience) in Architectural Building Technology Quantity Surveying Estimating Construction Engineering Project Management or a related field.

• Basic understanding of construction costs materials and project lifecycles (internship or academic project experience counts!.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and building measurement software (training on specialized software provided).

• Eagerness to learn and grow in cost consulting.
