Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Cook in their Education sector to join our team at USP Palmers Grays Essex RM17 5TD
You will be assisting with the production of both hot and cold food deli grab & go items and serving on the hot food counter at breakfast and lunchtime providing excellent customer service to our customers and ensuring all Health and Safety regulations are followed.

What we offer:
This is a parttime position 26 hours per week Monday Friday term time only 36 weeks of the year). The shifts are between 7am and 2.30pm.
The yearly equated salary is 13887

A day in the life of a Cook:
You will be preparing both hot and cold food alongside deli grab & go items (sandwiches wraps salads and fruit pots)
You will be serving on the hot counter at breakfast and lunchtime keeping track of any dishes running low and always carrying out Food Safety.
Placing orders and performing stock takes alongside storing deliveries and deep cleans of the unit daily/weekly.
You will on occasion be operating tills and taking payments whilst providing excellent customer service to our customers. You will also be upselling sizes and products.
You will be set up for success if you have:
Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
Previous cooking experience essential
Previous experience working within a school environment would be beneficial.
