1st Shift
About this role:
Works with project teams R&D technicians engineers and scientists in the Release Validation and overall support of equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Validate equipment and new processes.
- Coordinate procuring and qualification of new or modified test and/ or process equipment.
- Perform electronic and mechanical tests to components to validate system performance.
- Troubleshoot test systems.
- Train Technicians and Engineers on equipment as required.
- Provides support for Capital Equipment.
- Writing equipment qualifications for new and or existing equipment used for testing within the laboratory determining calibration specifications and preventative maintenance requirements.
- Maintain complex test equipment train staff on its operations and schedule necessary calibration or preventative maintenance.
- Actively participate in project team meetings. Coordinate and monitor project task and project progress against deliverables.
- Identify additional or new vendors to identify and acquire necessary supplies materials equipment and tools for specific projects.

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training pertinent education including licensure and certifications among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
Compensation for nonexempt (hourly) nonsales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g. any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
