Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (PEDS) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Hollywood Florida. This role is ideal for a skilled professional passionate about pediatric patient care and committed to improving respiratory health outcomes for infants children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform respiratory care procedures including oxygen therapy aerosol therapy chest physiotherapy and ventilator management.
- Assess and monitor pediatric patients with respiratory conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and equipment usage.
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelors degree in respiratory therapy.
- Current Florida Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of pediatric respiratory experience preferred (new grads with pediatric rotation experience encouraged to apply).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
