Job Description

Job Title: IT Sales and Business Development Specialist
Job Description:
As an IT Sales and Business Development Specialist your primary responsibility will be to drive
revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding business opportunities within existing
accounts in the Information Technology sector. You will collaborate closely with the sales and
marketing teams to identify potential clients understand their needs and develop tailored
solutions to meet those needs. Your role will involve a combination of strategic planning client
relationship management and sales .
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Research and identify potential clients in the IT industry.
Generate leads through various channels such as cold calling email campaigns
networking events and referrals.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
2. Client Engagement and Needs Assessment:
Conduct meetings with potential clients to understand their business challenges
objectives and IT requirements.
Collaborate with technical experts to assess client needs and propose customized
solutions. Present product demonstrations and articulate the value proposition
effectively.
3. Solution Development and Proposal Writing:
Work closely with the technical and presales teams to design comprehensive solutions
that address client needs.
Develop compelling proposals including pricing strategies and contract terms.
Ensure proposals are aligned with client objectives and deliverables.
4. Negotiation and Closing:
Lead negotiations with clients to finalize terms and contracts.
Overcome objections and address concerns raised by prospects.
Close deals in a timely manner while achieving revenue targets.
5. Account Management and Relationship Building:
Cultivate strong longlasting relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat
business.
Act as a trusted advisor providing ongoing support and guidance to clients.
Identify opportunities for upselling and crossselling additional products or services.
6. Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends competitor activities and market developments.
Analyze market data to identify opportunities for business growth and differentiation.
Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to enhance
offerings and messaging.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Information Technology or
related field (Masters degree preferred).
Proven track record of success in IT sales or business development with a minimum of
2 years of relevant experience.
Deep understanding of IT products services and solutions particularly in areas such
as software development cloud computing cybersecurity and digital transformation.
Strong communication negotiation and presentation skills.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced dynamic
environment.
Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
Willingness to travel as needed.
