Are you a meticulous financial professional ready to make an impact at the core of a forwardthinking tech and engineering company We are on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Accounting Specialist to drive financial clarity precision and transformation as we grow and as we shift from Deltek to Epicor in a companywide ERP upgrade. What You ll Tackle:
Master the Numbers:
Ensure every dollar has its place review reconcile and finetune accounts receivable/payable transactions.
Deliver clean sharp financial reports that leadership can rely on.
Audit journal entries and general ledger activity to keep everything crisp and compliant.
Align major expenses with the right projects contracts or operational budgets.
Oversee depreciation and maintain a steady rhythm of monthly reconciliations including payrolllinked entries.
Champion Payroll Integrity:
Own the bimonthly payroll cycle from start to finish no surprises no errors.
Validate timeoff balances onboard new hires into the system and ensure W2s and 941s are accurate and timely.
Keep compliance topofmind while managing employee data and pay structures.
Be the GoTo Financial Analyst:
Build insightful corporate and programspecific financial reports.
Provide variance and trend analysis to guide smarter decisions.
Support budget planning and operational reviews with realtime financial insights.
Lead Our ERP Evolution:
Take the reins on our Epicor ERP rollout your mission for the first six months.
Work handinhand with crossfunctional teams to move data test configurations and align financial workflows.
Monitor sidebyside operations between Epicor and Deltek to ensure a seamless handoff.
Create new reporting tools and dashboards to support postimplementation visibility.
Safeguard legacy data while helping the team transition smoothly into the new ecosystem.
What You Bring to the Table:
A degree in Accounting Finance or a closely related field.
At least five years of handson accounting experience bonus points for work in aerospace defense or hightech manufacturing.
Fluency in GAAP and a solid grasp of how numbers power strategic decisions.
Exposure to ERP systems like Deltek Epicor or similar platforms.
Advanced Excel skills and a nose for financial trends and outliers.
High attention to detail and a natural sense of ownership.
Great communication chops you ll be working with technical and nontechnical teams alike.
