Job Opportunity: VMware Engineer Amsterdam Netherlands.
Location: Amsterdam Netherlands
Contract Type: B2B or Payroll Contract 12 months extendable)
Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
Work Mode: Onsite/Hybrid (as per client requirement.
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive VMware Engineer to join our clients team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in system administration troubleshooting and maintaining IT infrastructure including client systems printers and communication links to ensure uninterrupted operational availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide troubleshooting and maintenance support for client systems printers and communication links to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform daytoday system administration of hardware and software environments.
- Install and configure clientside hardware and software based on standardised processes and documentation.
- Monitor system performance identify issues and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional IT teams to support and enhance the overall infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a VMware Engineer or in a similar system administration role.
- Strong handson experience with VMware vSphere ESXi and vCenter.
- Good understanding of networking storage and backup technologies.
- Experience supporting enduser systems (desktops laptops printers).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).

Proven experience as a VMware Engineer or in a similar system administration role. Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter. Good understanding of networking, storage, and backup technologies. Experience supporting end-user systems (desktops, laptops, printers). Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).
