Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated NX Customization Engineer with strong domain knowledge in mechanical and electrical product design. The ideal candidate will have extensive handson experience in NX CAD customization using NX/Open APIs and a solid grasp of Teamcenter architecture. This role requires strong technical acumen programming capabilities and the ability to work closely with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with engineering teams to understand and analyze product design requirements.
Customize NX using NX/Open APIs and UFunc to develop tailored CAD solutions.
Develop and maintain NX configurations to support product design processes.
Program and script using C and C#.Net to support NX customization efforts.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver scalable maintainable solutions.
Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to iterative development cycles.
Interface directly with customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Create functional specifications based on user needs and engineering goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent understanding of Mechanical/Electrical Product Design concepts.
Strong handson experience with NX CAD.
Indepth knowledge of NX configurations and customization possibilities.
Handson expertise in NX customizations using NX/Open APIs and UFunc.
Proficient in C and C#.Net programming.
Strong communication and customer interaction skills.
Good understanding of NX/Teamcenter architecture.
Ability to translate product and engineering requirements into technical specifications.
Exposure to Agile Scrum methodology.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in the semiconductor product design domain.
Knowledge of NX Knowledge Fusion and NX GRIP.
Strong team skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
