Job Summary:
At Park Hotel Kenmare the Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and business development plans to enhance the hotels brand visibility increase occupancy maximise revenue and attract highend clientele. This role requires a resultsdriven professional with a strong background in hospitality sales business strategies and event management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for rooms F&B exclusiveuse banquets and other hotel services.
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with new and existing corporate clients travel agencies event planners and luxury brand partners such as Relais & Chateaux Virtuoso and Irelands Blue Book.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand industry trends and develop competitive pricing strategies.
- Give clear direction in developing client proposals negotiating contracts and closing deals.
- Collaborate with and help guide the operational HODs and their teams during high profile events exclusive use buyouts and group reservation agendas.
- Adopt a handson approach to all events organised for Park Hotel Kenmare.
- Devise a business development plan that gives Park Hotel Kenmare a competitive edge in attracting national and international sales opportunities.
- Represent the hotel at national and international networking events trade shows and sales missions to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
- Monitor sales performance through key metrics and adjust strategies to meet revenue goals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional strategies for various booking channels.
Qualifications :
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing within the luxury hotel industry.
- Proven track record in meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent negotiation and networking skills.
- Indepth knowledge of hospitality industry trends and customer expectations in the luxury segment.
- Proficiency in online distribution channels.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Expertise in CRM software revenue management systems and hotel property management systems (PMS).
