Job Description

This role is what every Childcare Manager dreams of! This Service Manager role is to oversee a large OSHC service lead a dedicated team engage with the school community and build key relationships with the school families and children with the support of your Regional Director.

A large service with an existing team of two Assistant Coordinators and a team of Educators this service is designed for excellence. Licensed for 180 children this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and grow a highquality OSHC program across our operating hours of Monday Friday 6:30am 9:00am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:30pm 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). We also operate full days during the school holidays (Holiday HQ program).

In addition to paid admin hours every week every term you will have opportunities for professional development and staff meetings. As a part of a national company we have centralised teams to manage administrative tasks allowing you to focus on providing exceptional experiences for children and leading your team.

About the role:

Leading your team you will manage a large Outside School Hours Care service in the hours before and after school caring for children aged 512 years. Youll have the support of a statespecific office regular visits and mentorship from an experienced Regional Leader. The role is fulltime 38 hours per week) structured in block shifts to support worklife balance with approximately 5.5 hours per week in direct ratio hours along with responsibilities as an Educational Leader.

  • Develop and facilitate an engaging childcentered program.
  • Foster healthy relationships with children the school community and parents.
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite including roster management.
  • Manage the daytoday operations of your service.
  • Ensure quality and compliance in service delivery in line with the NQF.
  • Grow attendance to support children and families.

Who are we looking for

We can teach you about the job and JAG but a few basics you need to have:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working with children in a leadership position or a similar role.
  • Ideally minimum Diploma qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Diploma in Childrens Services) or have completed a minimum of 2 years of fulltime study in a relevant field.
  • Current and valid Working with Children Check or staterequired check.
  • Clear and professional communication.

Qualifications :
