Job Description

Employee Relations Manager;

  • Organizing with all the product and services departments and providing support in the following segments: staffing recruitment payroll health & safety performance management information services (IT) compensation & benefits organization structure ethics culture diversity and engagement survey
  • Coordinate the communication of New Hires with all services departments.
  • Complying with local legislation and create proposal to adhere to new legislation
  • Labor law notice compliance distribution and tracking of required notices (hiring payroll and benefits programs)
  • Ensure all (electronic) systems and administrations are up to date
  • Drive and maintain a high level of Quality within the department
  • Maintain filing system in accordance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures
  • Data entry and maintenance in the employees database
  • Responsible for employee related administration
  • Assist with general policy and compliance related questions
  • Monitor and provide scheduled reporting
  • Analyze and improve HR procedures
  • Provide essential support for ongoing largescale projects
  • Provide support to all other human resource functions as needed

Facility Manager: 

  • Communication and management of facility/office resources and tools
  • Serving as keypoint contact for facility questions
  • Regular meetings with main office building administration
  • Manage implementation and maintain of all applicable local compliance laws and regulations
  • Perform Risk Assessments of all facilities in order to identify hazards and mitigate risk to employee and visitors (in collaboration with SH&S)
  • Develop maintain and continuously manage Facility Business Plan and/or maintenance contracts
  • Own manage and report all Facility & Technical installation suppliers / subcontractors guarantees maintenance program and costs.
  • Lead facility to ensure excellent of the work environment by the local program (house rules)
  • Communicate develop and maintain the full of Expeditors District house rules
  • Keep District Management Team uptodate on new developments maintenance contracts and suppliers.
  • Support district with visitors.
  • All other activities as instructed & specified by the direct Manager

Qualifications :

Knowledge: 

  • Expeditors Company Policies and Procedures 

  • Expeditors systems and procedures  

  • Experience with HR (preferred) 

Skills: 

  • Ability to build strong relationships with employees and management to ensure effective support on human resource issues  

  • Strong MS Office Skills (intermediate level Excel skills) and communications system (Teams) 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills  

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 

  • Strong attention to detail and a critical eye  

  • Good data entry and computer skills 

  • Must be fluent both written and verbally in Spanish and English
