Job Description
The Superintendent of Schools announces the following positions to support
students in the Extended School Year (ESY) program this summer.
Extended School Year Program Special Education Speech and
Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
DATES: 7/7/20258/1/2025 5 days per week Monday thru Friday
HOURS: 7:45 am to 12:45 pm 5 hours per day
or
8:15 am to 1:15pm 5 hours per day
TITLE: ESY SLPA Special Education Speech and Language Pathology
Assistant
QUALIFICATIONS:
Active Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant license issued in the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Two years experience with Special Needs students preferred
REPORTS TO: Site Coordinator/Program Director
SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES:These responsibilities may include but are not
limited to:
Provide Speech and Language services for Special Education students
Elementary through high school.
Serve as a consultant to Special Education staff
Participate in inservice training for Regular and Special Education staff
Will track data as identified in students IEP and complete progress
reports
Perform other appropriate duties at the direction of Site
Coordinator/Program Director
SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Hourly rate in accordance with
the FRPS Educators Association Contract Unit B
