We are seeking an experienced Senior Tableau Developer who is passionate about creating intuitive visually compelling dashboards that drive datadriven decisionmaking. You will play a critical role in designing developing and deploying scalable Tableau dashboards while ensuring data security through rowlevel security (RLS) and user access controls. This role requires a deep understanding of data visualization best practices data modelling and experience in building enterpriselevel Tableau solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop highquality interactive Tableau dashboards that deliver clear actionable insights to business users.
- Ability to understand and Implement robust rowlevel security (RLS) and permissions to ensure users access only the data they are authorized to see.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including product and business stakeholders
- Optimize dashboard performance through best practices in data modelling extracts and visualization techniques.
- Maintain and enhance existing Tableau dashboards ensuring data accuracy reliability and consistency.
- Document processes design decisions and standards to ensure alignment across teams.
- Stay uptodate with Tableaus latest features and recommend new capabilities to improve the user experience.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 5 years of experience developing Tableau dashboards in a fastpaced environment.
- Proven expertise in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud including publishing workbooks data source management and setting user permissions.
- Strong experience implementing RowLevel Security (RLS) in Tableau with an understanding of best practices for user permissions and data governance.
- Deep understanding of data visualization principles and UX/UI design with the ability to simplify complex data into clear insightful visuals.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g. Snowflake)
- Experience working with large datasets and optimizing dashboard performance.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in industries such as sustainability economics or finance is a plus.
- Familiarity with data security and compliance frameworks.
- Tableau certification (e.g. Tableau Desktop Certified Professional).
