The finance team is crucial for maintaining financial health and stability. This team comprises accounts payable tax and treasury payroll and investor relations. Together they manage financial planning transactions compliance and investor communications ensuring the organization operates efficiently and meets its strategic goals.
The Buyer has the responsibility of executing Sourcing activities such as leading RFx and negotiating agreements and price offers understand the global market and be able to collaborate well with stakeholders and suppliers to identify cost savings opportunities and manage vendors and IT categories.
The holder of this role needs to ensure that the selection of suppliers and the sourcing agreements reflect the business and technology demands and to manage and drive supplier performance toward the Endava standard of operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential suppliers that can meet the organizations needs for goods or services.
- Conduct market research to assess supplier capabilities pricing quality and reliability
- Support performance of Vendor suppliers assessment & selection establish the relationships & manage regular business review meetings with the suppliers based on strategic business impact.
- Lead and execute RFx for products and services such as market research bidding process price negotiations
- Conduct costbenefit analyses and make recommendations for cost reduction initiatives.
- Sourcing new vendors for new geographies and M&As
- Evaluating current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them
- Setup and manage vendor governance meeting with the scope of identifying optimization solutions for the ongoing / new projects
- Lead the negotiation of framework agreements/agreements with providers.
- Use datadriven insights to identify trends opportunities and areas for improvement in the procurement function.
- Collect and analyze data related to procurement performance including spend analysis supplier performance metrics and savings tracking.
- Manage contracts with suppliers including reviewing terms and conditions tracking contract expiration dates and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Work closely with the legal department to negotiate contract terms and resolve disputes or issues as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies procedures and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process.
- Uphold ethical standards and integrity in all procurement activities including fair and transparent supplier selection processes.
- Implement measures to prevent fraud or conflicts of interest in procurement transactions.
- Negotiate contracts terms and pricing with selected suppliers to achieve cost savings and favourable terms.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree within Finance / Economics / Mathematics / Computer Science / Computer Engineering or alternate
- 2 years Sourcing experience
- Additional special training and certifications are plus
- Demonstrated experience in evaluating complex agreements
- Negotiation skills practical experience of supplier management
- Strong experience of performing Strategic Sourcing roles from spend analysis to category strategy creation and category management / vendor management
- Excellent understanding and experience of effective supplier governance i.e. enabling timely decision making within an organization
- Strong knowledge of the concept of contract management laws related to contracts / agreements and applicable legal obligations and arbitration process
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent time management qualities
- Excellent use of business English (spoken and written)
