You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailIn these casual roles based in our Rehabilitation sites (Richmond Hawthorn and Camberwell Unit A and B) you will be responsible for supporting the nursing team in the delivery of safe and quality patient centred care and will be part of our Continuing care and Support Services Team.
Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse you will assist in providing aspects of direct and indirect patient care and administrative tasks that fit within your level of achieved education skill set and assessed competence based on your clinical placements.
Some of the activities that you may be asked to do include assisting patients with daily living tasks such as grooming and hygiene ambulation and movement transporting patients between departments and constant patient observation.

You will be a secondyear nursing student with a caring proactive engaging manner and a willingness to learn and develop new skills. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills enable you to build relationships and communicate effectively and in a professional manner with a wide range of people including coworkers health professionals patients and family members.
