The role

As a Reporting Engineer you will be based in Aberdeen with occasional offshore requirements youll be reporting to the MAI Reporting Supervisor Lead. The Reporting Engineer will have responsibility for all vessel and platform deliverables. This includes overseeing the ongoing progress and final reporting for MAI Client Deliverables department projects.

Every role we have here at Fugro plays a vital part in the success safety and growth of our business and our staff. Youll be the one responsible for ensuring safe efficient and profitable and delivery of ROV vesselbased pipeline and structural and platformbased surveys and inspections.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that all assigned tasks are executed with the utmost quality and professionalism adhering strictly to the companys Integrated Management System and projectspecific guidelines. Additionally you will oversee the timely completion and issuance of final reports ensuring that all data deliverables align with the contractual reporting schedule.

An integral part of this position involves identifying your own training needs and proactively communicating them to the department manager. You will be encouraged to take full advantage of the training opportunities provided fostering continuous personal and professional development.

Furthermore you will be expected to prioritize the health safety and wellbeing of all individuals involved in the projects. This includes maintaining a vigilant stance on environmental protection and pollution prevention throughout all activities undertaken.

Who were looking for:

You should have formal qualifications to a minimum of HND level in Earth Science or Engineering and offshore experience working with ROVs as a Hydrographic Data Processor or Inspection Engineer. MS Office experience good IT skills ability to understand technical engineering drawings and excellent communication skills with a positive attitude are also essential.

While not mandatory familiarity with software such as EIVA Integrity Elements COABIS Apollo Knowhow and NEXUS ability to generate electronic reports and proficiency in digital video image editing and eventing packages are desirable skills.
