WWFIndia one of the prominent organisations engaged in wildlife and nature conservation in the country invites applications from candidates with an inherent sensitivity towards the conservation of nature to lead the Planning Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (PMEL) work at WWFIndia.
WWFIndia works on a wide range of projects across biodiversityrich regions in the country. Our work covers themes such as wildlife forests rivers and marine & coastal conservation and addresses issues like climate change and agricultural and business sustainability. These projects need to be professionally managed and their impacts need to be systematically documented and communicated. The incumbent is expected to lead the design and implementation of a system enabling WWFIndias conservation teams to do this effectively.
Job Profile:
- Lead the rollout and effective operation of the PMEL system across the programmes in coordination with the M&E and Programme teams.
- Develop in collaboration with the Programme Director and conservation teams an effective approach for developing and communicating organisational impact.
- Support a process of Quality Assurance for design and development of conservation projects.
- Ensure data density and recency of the PMEL system are maintained through appropriate data pipelines and clear roles & and responsibilities within various teams.
- Regular analysis of the PMEL data to develop insights and raise red flags to top management.
- Steer the ongoing strategic planning and review process for conservation programmes in close coordination with the Programme Director and Heads of Departments (HoDs)
Requirements
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- At least a Masters in economics management data science environmental science or other related field.
- Proficiency/fluency in English
- At least 10 years of experience in Programme development/Institutional development/M&E/ Strategy & Change Management or other similar roles
- Knowledge of Monitoring & Evaluation systems and Project Development in the nonprofit sector.
- Demonstrated interest in environmental conservation.
