Field Service Mechanic Pumps
Location: South/South East
Job Description:
Are you a skilled mechanic who takes pride in delivering the best service Do you enjoy customer contact We need you to deliver and maintain our fleet of fluid transfer products (pumps) and give technical support to our customers. This role is 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with opportunities for occasional weekend and overtime work. This role will be a satellite position with a reporting line to the Branch Operations Manager at the Bridgend branch. This role will be located to a branch in the future if one opens within the patch area.
Your Focus:
- Carry out mechanical servicing and fault finding on diesel electrical and air driven pumps
- Deliver and install / deinstall our range of pumps filtration equipment and tanks at customer sites
- Handover of equipment to the customer and instruct customer on correct usage.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on rental equipment
- Provide guidance to other operation team members
- Monitor parts inventory and maintain minimum stock levels
Your Profile:
- Maintenance experience preferably with bias towards fluid transfer processes and products both diesel electric and air driven
- Competent and confident to drive with a trailer where required to customers sites to collect or deliver our kit
- Essential that you have a technical background in electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Experience with plant and equipment hire business desirable
- Participate in oncall system and willingness to make occasional overnight trips
- Driving license B is essential
- Good oral and written communication skills essential
- Valuable competences: proactive service oriented team player flexible and independent
- Must be IT literate
