Job Overview
Aegan Global is seeking a skilled ETL Automation Tester for a fulltime midlevel position. The role is located in Mumbai or Bangalore Urban and requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience. should have hands on Experience in TOSCA requires a minimum 1 Years. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring ETL processes are efficiently automated accurate and reliable enhancing our clients data management and integration efforts.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in ETL Testing and Tosca is mandatory to automate and validate data processing tasks ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Experience in automation testing to create maintain and execute scripts that improve software quality and delivery speed.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying analyzing and manipulating data stored across various databases effectively.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and solutions to efficiently manage and retrieve large data sets in ETL processes.
- Proficiency in ETL Tools like Informatica or Talend to design workflows and manage data extraction transformation and loading operations.
- Handson scripting experience using languages like Python or Shell to automate repetitive tasks and streamline test processes.
- Capability to identify and resolve discrepancies debugging ETL and data issues to maintain data integrity across systems.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams understand requirements and report bugs and test results clearly.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate ETL operations ensuring data quality and performance benchmarks are met.
- Use tools like Tosca to automate regression tests reducing manual testing efforts and increasing coverage for datadriven applications.
- Collaborate with developers to investigate and fix ETL errors enhancing system reliability and output accuracy.
- Monitor data processes to spot and resolve potential issues before they impact stakeholders or endusers.
- Analyze and report test results providing actionable insights for process improvements and increased efficiency in ETL tasks.
- Engage in peer reviews to ensure quality standards are met sharing knowledge and best practices within the team.
- Facilitate the integration of new datasets into established ETL workflows supporting evolving business intelligence needs.
- Maintain documentation of all testing activities and processes to ensure transparency and facilitate future audits or process reviews.
