NICU APP Neonatal nurse practitioner or Experienced Neonatal PA at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Level I Nursery
Work Hours: Work Hours: 24 hour shifts 7 shifts in a 4 week period

The NNP or Neonatal PA demonstrates expertise in the clinical management of the neonate and infant. The practitioner role is multifaceted and includes clinical management of the high risk neonate and infant educational responsibilities administrative duties consulting and initiating/implementing research. The neonatal practitioner works in collaboration with medical nursing and support services to provide family centered care. The neonatal practitioner maintains active participation in his/her own continued education and professional development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Clinical NNP Masters Degree in Nursing or DNP Masters in Physician Assistant Studies
Current Florida State Licensure as APRN or a PA.
Current BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP).
Current Licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse/Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or PA.
Current National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or a PA
Requires 3 years of NNP or PA experience in a Level III or IV NICU

Salary Range: Minimum52.02per hour Maximum80.63per hour.Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
