Job Description

The Senior Fraud Investigation Specialist role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in fraud investigations and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills advanced analytical capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of fraud prevention strategies and techniques. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to the organizations overall risk management framework and play a pivotal role in mitigating fraud risks.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee complex investigations into suspected fraudulent activities ensuring adherence to established processes and legal requirements.
  • Manage a team of fraud investigators providing guidance mentoring and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Delegate work assignments coordinate and prioritize tasks to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct indepth analysis of financial and operational data identifying trends and patterns to uncover potential fraud schemes.
  • Develop and implement fraud prevention processes considering industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Stay abreast of the latest fraud schemes techniques and industry regulations and provide proactive recommendations to mitigate risks.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve risk management processes procedures and tools to enhance efficiency accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and streamlining of risk management activities
  • Prepare comprehensive investigative reports including findings recommendations and remediation plans
  • Provide training and awareness sessions to employees within and across other departments on fraud prevention detection and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Risk Team leader to ensure proper coordination and effective resolution of fraud cases.
  • Provides suggestions and recommendations to improve internal fraud rules (BV) based on the analysis and findings of existing and/or emerging fraud patterns.

Qualifications :

  • Experience in the Risk division 6 months) or in Customer Service 1 year);
  • Sound knowledge of the different aspects of Risk work including Online Payments or Financial Services knowledge;
  • Ability to identify subtle fraud and abuse patterns;
  • Sound and demonstrable experience with fraud analysis and investigations;
  • Fluent in English language at business level;
  • Command of another language is a plus;
  • Good communication skills and ability to effectively deliver feedback;
  • Selfmotivation;
  • Ability to perform well under tight deadlines within a dynamic environment;
  • Very good command of Microsoft office tools;
  • Proven aptitude to work in a team as well as guide and influence others;
  • Strong logical reasoning skills with an analytical approach;
  • Demonstrated decisionmaking and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work from home for a while
  • Shifts: Morning Afternoon and Night shifts
