As a Reservation/Revenue Manager and ambassador of the Mama brand while representing the Company you are expected to embody the Mama Spirit. Objective:
The Reservation/Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing the room revenue by ensuring the most profitable pricing and by making sure that the best possible service is delivered to the clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Group Revenue Manager to ensure the Mama Shelter pricing standards are applied at all times
- Manages the opening / closing of all the distribution channels according to the sales strategy decided by the management.
- Increasing the total hotel revenue by defining room prices monthly forecasting of hotel occupancy daily average price and revenue.
- Conduct product benchmark and competitor rate analysis regularly to ensure an accurate competitive intelligence
- Manages the channel management system and check daily that rates and availability are accurate
- Monitoring market trends competitor activity and bookings to identify opportunities to increase revenue
- Conduct the necessary analyses to correct some potential weak points or sources of revenue loss
- Quotes group and event requests
- Creates new rate plans promotional codes special offers and all other products in liaison with General Manager and Director of Sales.
- Ensure a monthly reporting to the Head Office as well as the other reporting as needed
- Work closely with the group & event team to make sure occupancy is optimized in terms of revenue and guest satisfaction
- Managing and organizing the reservation team members
- Handles guest inquires and cancelations
- Quotes available rates to maximize room revenue
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years experience on the same or similar position in hospitality industry.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Reservations sector
- Excellent knowledge of reservation and distribution systems (TARS PMS IDEAS Opera iCloud and other relevant software).
- Analytical thinking and ability for making strategic decisions
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and to possess team spirit
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and advanced knowledge of English language. Additional language proficiency is a plus.
