Job Description
Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Production Operative to join our team at Keystone Lintels a leading manufacturer of steel lintels. The role involves working on the production line during the PM shift where you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient manufacturing of highquality steel lintels. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail a commitment to safety and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment to produce steel lintels in accordance with company standards and specifications.
- Monitor the production process to ensure that all products meet quality control standards.
- Work to production schedules to complete daily work load under the supervision of an experienced team leader
- Perform routine checks and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Report any production issues or equipment malfunctions to the Production Supervisor.
- Carrying our manual handling tasks
- Work from Production Drawings
- Assist in the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and any issues that arise during the shift.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Adhere to company policies regarding health safety and environmental guidelines.
- Participate in training and development activities as required.
- Report any nonconformances identified immediately to management
- Comply with all company rules policies and procedures
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of steel lintel production processes is an advantage but full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
- A proactive approach to problemsolving and the ability to adapt to changes in production requirements.
