EY GDS Data and Analytics D and A Senior Consultant Tableau Cloud Specialist

Job Summary:
As a Senior Data Visualization Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and implementing complex data visualizations using Tableau and cloudbased data resources. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to translate business needs into actionable insights through compelling visualizations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Design and develop advanced Tableau dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights and meet business requirements using Tableau cloud.
- Connect Tableau to various cloud data sources (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and optimize data models for performance and scalability.
- Ensure the security and compliance of data visualization solutions within a cloud environment.
- Collaborate with data engineers and architects to integrate Tableau with existing data pipelines and architectures.
- Mentor junior data visualization analysts and engineers in best practices for Tableau and cloud data resources.
- Stay current with the latest Tableau features and cloud data technologies to continually improve and expand analytics capabilities.
- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of Tableau Server and related cloud resources.
- Develop and maintain documentation for Tableau dashboards data definitions and processes.
- Lead the design and implementation of data governance and quality standards for Tableau visualizations.
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver custom reports and dashboards that drive decisionmaking.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to increase Tableau adoption and literacy within the organization.
- Strong understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Knowledge of data modelling ETL processes and data warehousing principles.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
- Experience in Tableau Cloud version 2024.2 preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Science or a related field.
- 37 years of experience in data visualization and business intelligence with a strong focus on Tableau.
- Proficient in Tableau Desktop Tableau Server and Tableau Online.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and their data services.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g. Power BI Looker) is a plus.
- Tableau certification (Desktop Certified Professional Server Certified Professional) is highly desirable.
