Tool and Die Maker

We are seeking Tool & Die Maker based in our Chicago Factory located at 4849 South Austin Avenue Chicago IL 60638. The position is on 2nd shift with a work schedule of Monday Friday from 3:00 PM 11:00 PM.

Salary Range: $34/hour to $40/hour

With a Shift Differential!!

What you will be doing:

As a Tool & Die Maker youll ensure our production tools and equipment are in optimal condition directly impacting product quality and manufacturing efficiency. Working in a stateoftheart safetydriven facility you will:

• Repair troubleshoot and maintain precision tools dies and machinery.
• Use a variety of equipment including grinders lathes mills and CNC machines.
• Study blueprints and specifications to plan and execute tooling operations.
• Perform test runs to verify parts meet precise tolerances.
• Continuously improve toolroom processes and assist in maintaining a clean organized workplace.

What you bring:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong mathematical skills.
• Experience with precision tools and measuring instruments (calipers micrometers etc..
• Knowledge or willingness to learn EDM CNC lathe and CAD.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• A commitment to teamwork safety and learning new techniques.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
