Location:Brixham & Paignton Family Hubs 2 days at each
Contract/Hours:Fixed Term/Part Time Until 31st March 2026. 28 hours per week (TuesdayFriday) 9am4.30pm

About the service and the role
Action for Children are part of 0 to 19 Torbay.Working alongside the Local Authority ensuring the Family Hubs are a place children young people and families can access support or information in a variety of ways.
Our Business Support Team is crucial in supporting this. Collating and gathering information inputting data gathering feedback and mostimportantly being a friendly face of the Hubs. Warmth and Kindness is what we breathe.
In joining us you wont be thrown in the deep end; youll work in a closeknit team with someone always on hand to offer help
A bit about the role
Join our team as an Administrative Assistant the heart of our operations managing enquiries from management and employees across various communication platforms this requires effective seamless communication for a productive workflow.
Youll welcome and direct visitors manage multiple diaries room bookings and expertly handle precise data inputting. Other general admin task will include photocopying and ordering stationery and cleaning supplies.
This role requires strong IT and communication skills The ability to manage a busy workload and to be able to work independently and as part of a team.
We run sessions on weekends and evenings and there is an expectation that our staff will need to work occasionally to cover these.
You will be the first point of contact for children young people families and professionals who contact the service so will need to be approachable compassionate and empathetic.
