We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Surgery Technician to join our dynamic Oral Surgery team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms assisting surgeons and maintaining a sterile environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a fastpaced environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare operating rooms by arranging surgical instruments supplies and equipment.
Verify functionality and sterility of surgical instruments and equipment.
Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery.
Collaborate with the surgical team to review procedurespecific needs and protocols.
Pass instruments supplies and sterile items to surgeons during procedures.
Anticipate surgeon and surgical team needs to facilitate efficient workflow.
Operate and monitor surgical equipment as directed.
Assist with transferring patients to recovery areas.
Clean and sterilize instruments equipment and operating rooms postsurgery.
Restock supplies and prepare rooms for the next procedure.
Adhere to clinic policies procedures and safety regulations including infection control standards.
Maintain accurate documentation related to surgical procedures and inventory.
Education and Certification
Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
Experience
Minimum 12 years of experience in a surgical setting preferred.
Familiarity with various surgical specialties including Oral Surgery preferred.
Some Dental background or knowledge preferred.
