Brackenberry is proud to partner with Liverpool Childrens Services offering a fantastic opportunity for experienced social workers 3 years postqualified) to join their Permanence Teams. This is a pivotal role focused on Children in Care and Children Looked After ensuring the best possible outcomes for children and young people across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with Children in Care and Looked After Children building trusting meaningful relationships.
- Apply a methodical and organised approach to care and placement planning.
- Deliver longterm outcomefocused interventions helping to reduce risk and support permanency.
- Secure stable placements tailored to each childs unique needs.
- Collaborate with multiagency professionals to create and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Maintain clear concise and timely case recording in line with statutory requirements.
What Were Looking For
- 3 years of postqualified experience in childrens social care
- Strong background in Children in Care / Looked After Children services
- Proven ability to engage directly with children and young people ensuring their voices are heard
- Highly organised with excellent planning and risk management skills
- Uptodate knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential

- You should have right to work in U.K full time and unrestricted and able to provide proof towards it.
