Are you a highly skilled and experienced auditor looking for your next career move Do you thrive in a fastpaced environment and have a strong attention to detail Our client based in Alberton has an exciting opportunity for an Audit Senior/Supervisor to join their dynamic team.
Job Overview:
As an Audit Senior/Supervisor you will be responsible for leading and managing audit engagements for various clients. You will also be tasked with mentoring and supervising junior staff and assisting with business development initiatives.
Duties would include but not be limited to:
- Spearheading the planning and concluding phases of audits
- Conducting preengagement activities including establishing a clear audit approach in collaboration with clients
- Identifying planning priorities such as materiality assessments
- Articulating the audit strategy and its progression to partners and senior managers on the project
- Skilfully reviewing and crafting financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS
- Evaluating the going concern status of entities and their operations for the foreseeable future by scrutinizing forecasts
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field.
- 3 years articles (post articles studies)
- 12 years Audit experience
- Newly Qualified CA(SA) would be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications Caseware and Pastel
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Own vehicle is essential
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
