Description
The Software Engineer develops maintains and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g. processingintensiveanalytics novel algorithm development manipulation of extremelylarge data sets realtime systems and business managementinformation systems) based upon documented requirements. Worksindividually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests softwarecomponents for adherence to the design requirements and documentstest results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes softwaredevelopment and software design methodologies appropriate to thedevelopment environment. Provides specific input to the softwarecomponents of system design to include hardware/software tradeoffs software reuse use of Commercial OfftheShelf(COTS) / Government OfftheShelf (GOTS) in place of newdevelopment and requirements analysis and synthesis from systemlevel to individual software components.
Clearance
A current TopSecret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
ExperienceSeven 7 years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four 4 years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelors degree.

- Experience with object oriented languages including C or C
- Experience with Agile Development
