JOB TITLE: Organizing Operations/Logistics Assistant

PURPOSE: Reporting to the Organizing Operations Deputy Director the Organizing Operations/Logistics Assistant will assist with all aspects of the daytoday organizing logistics and operations of the National Organizing Department which include budget monitoring and coordinating logistical needs for the Capacity Center meetings and trainings and other duties as assigned. They will also support departmentwide initiatives and events.

DIRECTION & DECISION MAKING:
This position reports to the Organizing Operations Deputy Director and the incumbent works under general supervision.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university preferred; and at least three 3 years of related work experience with a minimum of one 1 year of experience with campaign and field logistics budgets operations meeting planning database development; and familiarity specifically with fieldbased operations and campaigns. Or
High School diploma or GED; and five 5 years of experience in campaign and field logistics operations budgets meeting planning database development; and familiarity specifically with fieldbased operations and campaigns. Or a combination of education and experience that would provide for the following knowledge skills and abilities:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work in this position will generally be performed in an office setting. However the job may require work in other settings conducive to performing the tasks required to complete assignments. Must be available for some travel including overnight stays. Travel and work beyond traditional business hours is required.
Probationary Period: 36 Weeks
