Why Patients Need You
Pfizers U.S. Migraine portfolio consists of two complimentary treatments Nurtec ODT and Zavzpret. Nurtec ODT is the first and only FDA approved oral CGRP receptor antagonist indicated in adults for the acute treatment of migraine and the preventive treatment of episodic migraine NURTEC ODT can change the paradigm in migraine treatment and potentially establish a new standard of care. Zavzpret is the first and only FDA approved CGRP receptor antagonist nasal spray that is designed to provide patients fast relief from a migraine attack with just one spray.
Over 41 million patients in the U.S. currently suffer from migraine but less than 25 seek care. About 1.2 million patients with migraine visit the ER per year and almost 80 of them never sought care from a community regarding their migraine condition before going to the ED. Less than 2 of patients diagnosed with Migraine are taking a CGRP treatment like Nurtec ODT and Zavzpret. Migraine creates a significant economic burden to the U.S. healthcare system costing over $78B annually.
What You Will Achieve
The U.S. Nurtec ODT HCP Senior Marketing Manager Secondment will report directly to the U.S. Nurtec HCP Team Lead for 6 months and partner with Global and US Marketing teams Medical and a multitude of agency stakeholders to evolve and execute Pfizers Migraine congress strategy and plan. This role also closely collaborates with colleagues responsible for the portfolios Peer to Peer strategy and KOL engagement strategy. It operates in a fastpaced dynamic environment due to the many congress meetings and activities planned at each event and the importance of the Migraine Franchise to Pfizer as an organization. It also requires ongoing crossfunctional collaboration synthesis of meaningful insights to influence HCP behavior and strong agency partnerships to help meet accelerated timelines. Although this role sits under the Nurtec ODT HCP team its responsibilities extend beyond Nurtec ODT to build a unified congress strategy for the franchise.
How You Will Achieve It
Lead and evolve Pfizers U.S. Migraine congress strategy
Lead planning and for 20 annual society meetings (ex. booth product theater out of home peer to peer coordination) in both Specialty (ex. Neurology) and Primary Care settings
Support Growth Gig who is leading and planning 20 Miles for Migraine events
Lead local exhibit and display tactics & logistics including Display on Demand
Support the U.S. Marketing Migraine Lead with onsite KOL engagement meeting logistics
Collect insights and metrics to evaluate performance; socialize findings with broader Migraine Team
Support Field Input Team (FIT) advisory boards to capture and cross pollinate insights
Work seamlessly across different functional teams including (but not limited to) Migraine HCP/Consumer/Payer Global Medical Legal Regulatory and GAV
Lead RC reviews for U.S. Migraine congress assets
Support 2H 2025 operating and tactical plan development process focused on congress strategy and plan
Manage agency partners working CFC and congress assets such as Publicis Area23 Spiro and Omlie
Qualifications
MustHave
BS/BA degree required; Advanced degree preferred with a minimum of 6 years in the pharmaceutical biotech device or diagnostic industry including ability to develop deliver upon marketing strategies with proven results
NicetoHave
3 years of experience in Marketing Experience preferred
Primary Care and/or Migraine experience a plus
Selfstarter but also take direction and drive
Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams
Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize effectively
Change agile and dependable; ability to turn around deliverables in a fastpaced environment
Strong project management skills
