Job Description
Job Summary: The State Inspector is responsible for examining motor vehicles to ensure vehicles operating on state highways meet all requirements established by the Marylands department of motor vehicles. ******* $5000.00 DOLLAR SIGN ON BONUS *******

Qualifications
- Certified auto technician needed to perform Maryland safety vehicle inspection for our used car department must have a least 1 yr experience as a Maryland state inspector
- Valid Drivers License
- Maryland State Inspectors License
- Previous experience required
- Willing to to submit to a drug screen and background check prior to employment
- B level qualifications including Diagnostic Electrical and Engine Repair
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic Computer skills
- Team player
- Ability to learn new technology repair and service procedures and specifications
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Responsibilities
- Conducts vehicle inspections for mechanical services
- Assist in the Tire installation balancing and repairing
- Perform schedule maintenance services on vehicles
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Testdrive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing maintaining and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes air conditioning etc
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
- Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
