Job Description: Group Home Assistant Supervisor
Location: Howell MI
Join our Work Skills family! WSC is growing and were looking to add a caring Group Home Assistant Supervisor for our Genoa Home! Pay starts at $43680 annually plus potential for additional financial incentives.
Job Summary
The Group Home Assistant Supervisor manages and directs the operations of the home in the absence of the Home Supervisor and primarily works an afternoon shift 12 PM to 8 PM) with some oncall team rotation responsibilities. This person assumes a leadership role and works with our amazing team of Direct Care Professionals (DCPs) providing supervision and training support to ensure their success!
Qualifications
- High School Diploma is required associates or bachelors degree a plus
- Two years of group home experience is preferred
- Upon hire the successful candidate must satisfactorily complete all training required by the County of Fiscal Responsibility (COFR) and contracting agencies
- A valid unrestricted drivers license is required
- The results of a physical exam must indicate the individual is cleared for unrestricted work duties
Responsibilities
- Act as house manager in his/her absence
- Supervise inhome staff (Direct Care Professionals)
- Make sure the assigned duties of staff are completed
- Assist in the management of resident funds
- Assist in scheduling staff
