The role
How would you like to use your engineering experience and join a dynamic company that solves complex engineering challenges
We are currently seeking an Engineering Coop to be a part of a team working on nuclear and military HVAC projects. You will be involved in designing engineering manufacturing and testing customdesigned HVAC systems including chillers air conditioners highefficiency filtration absorption systems coolers fans dampers and accessories.
This is a 1st shift position located at our manufacturing facility in Batavia OH.
You will
- Utilize and apply the principles of engineering organizational and interpersonal skills in a realworld engineering environment
- Interact with engineering design manufacturing purchasing and sales personnel as well as our customers
- Support the development of equipment designs that are safe functional reliable economical serviceable and marketable
- Select and specify components materials and purchased parts including writing specifications for custom components
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing test and service problems as they arise
- Perform other duties as assigned
We are looking for
- Candidates seeking a BS/MS Degree in Mechanical Electrical Industrial or Chemical Engineering
- Candidates who are 14 years away from graduation from an Engineering School or University
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Candidates who preferably have CAD or drafting experience
- Highly motivated candidates with great communication skills
Just so you know
- This position is an entrylevel coop role
- Our coops are assigned to a seniorlevel engineer who mentors you
- We are looking to hire candidates who are in good standing with your university and/or field of study
- The duration of our coop assignments is typically 1012 weeks dependent upon your schools coop rotational program
- We require preemployment drug/alcohol testing and a background check
