Position Title: Lead Development India
Location: Mohali
Position Type: Regular Fulltime

In this position with RoundGlass Foundation (Foundation) you will be responsible for
implementing an actionoriented annual fundraising plan and establishing the network &
relationships to secure the revenue for the Foundations philanthropic efforts. You will work
directly with the India Leader for the Foundation and members of the thematic teams to
build the pipeline of support from individuals foundations corporates and other funding
sources. This role would also require you to interface regularly with the Founder to advance
the Foundations vision.

You will build and grow a team that will keep pace with the program growth and onground
expansion in India and will ensure that the annual fundraising targets are set and met
through a coherent approach engaging all key stakeholders internally and externally.
This role would be ideal for you if you are entrepreneurial resultoriented and have a proven
track record of building and augmenting a national network of diverse donor support for
organizations.

What youll do:
Create the roadmap and strategy for the Foundations fundraising with clear short
medium and longterm objectives based on a shared vision of desired outcomes
Develop a national network of diverse supporters strengthening the existing network
and adding new champions and donors
Build a diverse portfolio approach to fund raising in order to ensure effort and target
distribution across different kinds of sources
Proactively execute multiple aspects of the plan engaging high net worth individuals
corporations foundations and other pertinent entities
Work closely with Foundation Leader(s) to put in place and in use an effective fund
channelisation and utilisation process along with clear measures to determine net
value added in the targeted thematic areas
Keep initiative teams informed on emergent trends and outlook in terms of longstanding partnership and/or support commitments to ensure that our operating
designs are simple relevant and practicable in terms of measurable impact
Use the understanding of leadingedge philanthropic pipeline and cause related
marketing management to drive related funding endeavours across different
thematic areas of the Foundation
Work with crossfunctional teams to continually identify opportunities for enrichment
and augmentation of fundraising opportunities and impact.

Who were looking for:

Masters degree in Business Social Sciences or another related field with a
minimum of 10 years of experience of having worked in a direct fundraising and
partnership role with at least 3 years in a leadership position. Experience with social
or development sector organizations would be preferred.
A driven and empathetic leader who can work across boundaries and get things
done
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with minimal supervision and comfort
with the ambiguity of the fundraising universe
Highly organized with strong project management skills interpersonal skills and an
executive presence with the ability to quickly establish personal credibility and
demonstrate expertise
Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international
environment with people from diverse backgrounds cultures and timezones
Ability to stretch limits to meet deadlines and timebound goals for self and team
members
Outstanding leadership capabilities ability to communicate a compelling vision and
drive results while developing a strong team
Adaptable with a penchant for innovation and a keen eye for emergent trends
regulatory environment and fastevolving policy context with willingness to learn on
the fly.
