Derby Academy a PreKindergarten through Grade 8 coeducational day school located in Hingham Massachusetts seeks a Lower School Instructional Assistant (LongTerm Substitute) from early April through June 11th.Rooted in the schools motto Improve Both Mind and Heart Derbys Lower School provides students with a joyful and rigorous academic environment. The Instructional Assistant Teacher will support two gradelevel lead teachers to deliver instruction in literacy mathematics and an integrated science and social studies program as well as provide classroom management support. A collaborative spirit and a growth mindset are essential for success in this role.RequirementsBachelors degree in education demonstrated experience in an early elementary educational setting excellent written and verbal communication skills commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment and ongoing engagement in professional development required.
