Job Description
The ideal candidate should have experience and a strong commitment to delivering highquality clinical care that ensures positive outcomes for patients and their families.
The successful candidate will possess a MD/DO or equivalent degree ABP board certification with subspecialty certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine possess or be eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license and academic leadership experience and accomplishments commensurate with process qualifications for aUniversity of Central Florida College of Medicine faculty appointment at the level of Associate Professor or Professor.

Our boardcertified pediatric hospital medicine faculty providededicated care to hospitalized children with 24/7 faculty coverage split amongst 11 fulltime hospital medicine physicians and 2 fulltime nurse practitioners.
- The Division Chief who reports to the Department of Pediatrics Chair will oversee hospitalists and advanced practice providers ensuring clinical excellence and professional growth.
- Key initiatives include developing clinical research quality improvement and innovative care models while also working closely with various specialties and addressing the needs of underserved populations.
- The role requires a strong background in scholarly activity and securing research funding. As primary leaders in clinical education at Nemours Childrens HospitalFlorida we offer a robust 2year Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship program. Our team provides training for Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellows residents (from Pediatric and three Family Medicine programs) medical students 120 M3s per year from UCF) acting interns APP Acute Care fellows and APP students.
