Cleaning and Sanitation Technicians Tofino BC
We are currently accepting applications forCleaning and Sanitation Techniciansto join our dynamic operations located out of our Tofino Operations.
As a Cleaning and Sanitation Technician you will have the opportunity to work with a team during the evenings start time is based on production speeds during the day. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that the plant is properly sanitized disinfected with various equipment and chemicals and meets hygiene regulations.
Key Accountabilities:
- You will work on your own for a majority of your shift to complete your assigned tasks.
- Using a pressure washer and various equipment to thoroughly clean and sanitize the plant equipment to ensure that the building and equipment needs hygiene standards and is ready for the next processing day.
- You will be responsible for safely handling applying and storing cleaning chemicals required for the job. You will be responsible for assessing your work and that of your team members to ensure that each of the workstations or cleaned and sanitized thoroughly.
Your Position Requirements:
- Previous experience in a cleaning and sanitation position would be considered an asset
- Knowledge of chemical and sanitizing agents and how to properly use them would be considered an asset.
- Candidates must be willing to work evening shifts start time is dependent on production during the day and may include some weekend work. You are a team player and have the great interpersonal skills and work well with others.
- You are dependable punctual and have reliable transportation to get to and from work employees are responsible for their own transportation.
Your Reward:
- A pay rate of $22.92/hour
- You could also receive a daily bonus which can exceed an additional $4.00 per hour on top of your hourly rate dependent on production speeds and attendance targets.
