The Johns Hopkins Hospital Surgical Progressive Care Unit/ IMCis a 32bed general surgical unit. The unit offers three levels of care: Floor Telemetry and Intermediate Medical Care (IMC).You will help lead different initiatives and support the Nurse Manager in the daytoday operations of the unit provide resources to staff and help provide patient care. This role is vital in ensuring the unit runs smoothly.

Requirements:

  • BSN or MSN preferred. Must be from an accredited nursing program.
  • Active Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) or Compact State Registered Nursing license is required.
  • CPR/BLScertification required:AHA Red Cross or Military Training Network accepted.
  • Experienced Registered Nurse with clinical leadership experience required.

Responsibilities:

  • This position is a Unitbased Leadership role.
  • Opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of surgical patients.
  • Staff continuing education.

  • Position combines a mix of administrative duties and patient care.

Salary Range: Minimum46.57per hour Maximum72.18per hour.Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
