The most critical part of the job responsibilities; requires most of the employees time and effort.
Conducting studies i.e. time studies locomotion studies to be used in enhancement projects in a lean endeavor.
Design and implement ergonomic work methods & efficiency optimization strategies.
Be a key role player in the implementation of new processes equipment and products.
Value Stream Mapping and Visual Management.
Initiate plan execute and control strategic projects to accomplish operational goals.
Potential for travel across eight 8 domestic sites to further improve and hone skills.
WORK EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
Future Metals will consider students who have completed at least four semesters of college in the following major: Engineering
Excellent verbal written and telephonic communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to analyze data and draw relevant conclusions to have positive effects on business
