Onsite: 32 hours/week in the office
Smith Micro develops software to simplify and enhance the mobile experience providing solutions to leading wireless service providers and cable MSOs around the world. Our solutions enrich todays connected lifestyles while creating new opportunities to engage consumers via smartphones and consumer IoT devices.
This is a hybrid internship position set to begin in late May or June lasting for 12 weeks. Summer interns will work 3040 hours per week with four 4 days in the office.
As an AI Marketing Intern youll enhance your educational experience through practical onthejob learning assignments and project completion.
What you will do:
- Work closely with the digital marketing team to create campaigns and assets using AI tools to assist with launch and ongoing marketing activities.
- Utilize AIdriven analytics to interpret consumer behavior track campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve ROI including budget tracking and allocation.
- Leverage AI tools to perform market research on competitors competitor offerings and emerging market demographics.
- Collaborate with the team to use AI for generating testing and refining marketing copy visuals and other assets for the Smith Micro Brand ensuring brand voice is clear.
Required Education and Experience:
- Located within 20 miles of the office with reliable transportation to work inoffice four 4 days weekly.
- Currently enrolled as a 3rd or 4thyear student in a Marketing Business or related program with a focus on Digital Marketing or AI in Marketing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and online research.
- Familiarity with AI tools in marketing (such as AIpowered social listening platforms or marketing automation tools) and marketing tech stacks (CRM automation tools etc. and knowledge and experience using Google Analytics (GA$ Tag Manager and Looker Studio is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills with an interest in applying AI to marketing data and strategy.
Desirable Skills and Qualities:
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for learning and contributing to team success.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and shifting priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
- Familiarity with AIpowered marketing tools and platforms such as machine learning for consumer insights chatbots or automated marketing solutions is a plus.
- Understanding of SEO SEM and digital marketing trends is a plus.
- Experience or interest in leveraging AI technologies to improve campaign effectiveness and enhance customer engagement.
