Responsibilities
Overview:
As the worlds leading mission capability integrator and transformative enterprise IT provider we deliver trusted and highly differentiated national security solutions and technologies that keep people safe and secure. Peraton serves as a valued partner to essential government agencies across the intelligence space cyber defense civilian health and state and local markets. Peraton is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team of qualified diverse individuals.
What you will do:
- Lead the deployment of opensource software in a cloud environment
- Build and test a Helm chart for the deployment of containerized web services
- Create and deploy Azure GovCloud infrastructure using Terraform
- Build automated pipelines for security assessments testing and deployment of Infrastructure as Code
- Support security audits and assessments of deployed infrastructure
- Support modification of PHP opensource web services
Schedule:
- Core hours areMondayFriday to ensure overlap with the team attendance is expected outside of this window as needed to support meetings deployments and team activities.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Associates degree and 7 years of experience; OR Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience; OR Masters Degree and 3 years of experience. Or 0 years with PhD. However four 4 years of additional relevant experience or specialized training will be considered in lieu of a Bachelors degree.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active Secret clearance.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
Required Technical Qualifications:
- Expertise developing Kubernetes objects and Helm charts
- Expertise deploying infrastructure with automated pipelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience writing Terraform for deploying Azure GovCloud infrastructure
- Experience developing web services with PHP
- Experience integrating software with single sign on solutions
- Experience developing automated tests for web services
- Experience with agile software delivery lifecycles with particular emphasis on requirements
- analysis design and testing experience.
- Experience working in a disconnected network (not connected to the internet).
