Job Description
Position: Production Manager (Tanzania)
Location: Dar es Salaam Tanzania
Gross Salary: KES 100000 (Negotiable based on experience)
About the Company:
Our client is an innovative company based in Dar es Salaam specializing in the production of promotional merchandise and advertisements on light boxes. They are looking for a Production Manager with a strong background in managing production processes related to promotional merchandise light box advertising or billboard materials. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience and a proven track record in driving production efficiency and maintaining highquality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire production process of promotional merchandise light boxes and related advertising materials.
- Develop implement and ensure adherence to production schedules.
- Lead and manage production teams promoting efficient work practices high productivity and a positive team environment.
- Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g. design marketing procurement) to plan and execute promotional projects.
- Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the Store Officer to ensure timely procurement of raw materials.
- Address and resolve productionrelated issues or delays promptly to maintain project timelines.
- Ensure that all safety standards and health regulations are adhered to within the production area.
- Prepare and maintain detailed production reports tracking progress efficiency and areas for improvement.
- Provide leadership and training to the production staff fostering skill development and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in Production Management Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a production management role preferably in the promotional merchandise light box advertising or billboard materials production industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams to meet production goals.
- Excellent problemsolving decisionmaking and conflictresolution abilities.
- Familiarity with production software and tools to monitor and optimize workflows.
- Exceptional organizational communication and timemanagement skills.
- Ability to work under pressure meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in managing production processes related to billboard materials is highly preferred.
