40Summary:
The Child/Family Therapist (LCSW LPC or LMFT) provides outpatient psychotherapy individual and play therapy to clients ages 3 18 years of age and works with families to better assist children and adolescents. Must have experience with pediatric/adolescent mental health diagnoses using a variety of treatment milieu and psychological tests. Experience providing therapy to patients with ADHD developmental delays mood disorders complex psychiatric and neuropsychiatric conditions. Experience with traumainformed care is preferred. A strong understanding of the ecological biological genetic and developmental factors that promote health across the lifespan is preferred. May be assigned to work with specialty populations or across several clinic locations as needed.
Location/Hours: Cook Childrens Medical Center (Fort Worth TX)
Mon Fri 8:30 am 4:30 pm or 9 am 5 pm
Education/Licensure & Qualifications:
Masters degree in Counseling Social Work Psychology Family Therapy or related field.
Licensed in Texas as an LCSW LPC or LMFT.
Previous experience providing therapy to Pediatrics/Adolescents.
Experience with Play and Trauma therapy (preferred).
Previous experience working in a medical setting (preferred).
CPR Basic Life Support required prior to start date.
